Dr. David Farkas of Legacy Oral Surgery always had a passion for surgery and decided to go into Oral Surgery. He first earned his MD at SUNY Downstate Medical School and then finished Dental School at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. At Columbia, he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), National Dental Honors Society given to the top 10 students in the class. He completed his residency at Kings County Hospital Center, Level 1 Trauma Center in New York City in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery where he served as a Chief Resident. Dr Farkas is married with 3 children and enjoys skiing, golf, watching and playing sports.
